EVENT PREVIEW

The 32nd Annual NMRA Ford Expo, scheduled for September 3-5 at National Trail Raceway is always one of the most exciting stops on the tour. The second-to-last race, the points battles are almost at critical mass, which means the racers will have the wick turned up giving the track all it can take, and then some. And in addition to our usual racers, there will also be the chance to watch some vintage Blue Oval cars make its way down the track in the Y-block shootout and special vintage bracket classes. For the fans of both old and new, this is the NMRA event of the year.

All-Ford Heads Up Racing!

NMRA Ford Nationals Heads Up Racing has it all! Experience everything from blazing 6 second Turbonetics Pro Outlaw 10.5 passes to edge of your seat wheel stands in Edelbrock Hot Street. You'll witness the best in Ford street legal racing action all weekend.

True Street is for 15 second cars down with over 9 awards given away on Sunday. Open Comp, Modular Muscle, Super Stang are all great classes for a new racer. Giant NMRA Car Show Each Day!

NMRA will host an awesome Car Show both days, Saturday and Sunday. Bring your Ford muscle car, hot rod, truck, or specialty vehicle for a chance to win one of over 50 awards each day. This is the BIG one for Ford car shows in this area with the NMRA Car Show attracting some of the most beautiful, collectible, stock and modified cars and hot rods in the U.S.

Huge Manufacturers Midway & Swap Meet

Looking to buy parts for your Ford? Do you want to meet face-to-face with experts from your favorite performance companies? This NMRA event always has an awesome manufacturer's midway with great deals on the performance parts you need for your muscle car or hot rod. If you're looking for that hard to find part or a great bargain, be sure to check out the swap meet.

Jet Car Shooting for 300+ mph!

Get ready to be blown away by the Jet Car blasting down the 1320! Be one of the first to witness the Jet Car make a 300+mph pass.

World Famous Burnout Contest!

The World Famous Burnout Contest is always a crowd favorite! Sign up to participate or sit back and cheer as contestants smoke their tires for a chance for prizes and bragging rights.

As one of the oldest all-Ford events in the nation, the Ford Expo experienced the cars and stars of the NMRA Keystone Automotive Ford Nationals for the first time in 2005. The combination of this time honored nostalgia Ford event along with the wild and crazy NMRA heads-up drag racers, made for one exciting weekend. As we head back to National Trail we plan to do nothing but improve on this classic Labor Day Weekend event. If you attended in last year, you'd know that this event boasts all kinds of special activities. It starts with a swarm of mini meets, then continues with the gigantic swap meet, car coral, overflowing car show, and sprawling vendor midway. So if you are looking for some great deals on all your car needs, this is the place to find them. This event pushed even National Trail's extensive grounds to the limits. In addition to this, we'll run a big-money all-Ford bracket race which includes the Nostalgia '78 class as well as the adorable junior dragsters. The NMRA Ford Expo is sure to be the most unique event of the season, so if you're looking for a weekend full of Fords - from vintage to late model - this is the place to be!
