For a spray bar type plate nitrous system on a dual plane intake, how tall of a spacer should be run between the plate and the intake?

Do you mean the spacer itself as in the NOS plate or the gasket, NOS makes a large line of Bigshot systems for just about any CARB system.

I mean an open spacer underneath the nitrous plate between it and the dual plane intake. I do not want to have distribution problems with the dual plane. I may be running a set of Cleveland heads with a factory Boss 302 intake. I haven't found any single plane alternatives yet.

We ran a dual plane (performer RPM) for about 5 years without any spacer and were throwing upwards of 250hp at the engine without any problems....we were told that we should be running a open manifold for better distribution....when we eventually went to an old Victor type manifold (with the twisted top) there was no noticable difference...
