Can I run in the 9s with TKO transmision

Can I run in the 9s with TKO 5 speed transmision?? Has been done?
What is the best clutch set up for 800 hp engine (T76 Turbo + NOS in 406 stroker)
Any comments on Macload dual disc set-up .
I do not want to go automatic at this time.

I just did it at the Nationals this past weekend. I run a TKO(not a tko II) and went a best of 9.70 without a glich in the trans. Also, Bob Hanlon went 9.20's(not sure of exactly, but this is close) on a TKO II with his pro shifted gear set. I run a combo of Liberty and Swarr proshifted gears in my trans, and it works flawlessly. I also use a SPEC stage IV diaphram pressure plate and clutch disc assembly. It also works without a glitch, even shifting at 7,000 rpm's.

Well, thanks for the info, I alway thought that to run 9s we must go to C4 /C6 or glide or race type 4/5 speed mission! Any how, I seek some advice on a clutch set up that will handle:
408 windsor, elder perf. heads ported, TFS intake with turbo tech racing T76 kit (22 PSI) and 120/ 150 HP NOS. I have been using this set up with Ram single disc (6129) and long style pressure plate. It will last three runs and then start slipping! Is the Mcloed dual disc a good set up?? or what is best??
