Chris & Gene,

As I was explained by VP in order to be paid contigency a racer had to buy fuel from a VP vendor at the event they where racing at to be paid contigency. After every race I submit a list of the winners to VP who purchased fuel from me.
Gene, I called VP today to find out what was going on with your contigency. I was told that this beening prime race season & the amount of events that VP pays contigency in they are behind in processing the paperwork. My contact told me that your check for contigency was cut today & coming out of Texas.

I hope this info helps. Lisa

Is this true, I have to buy the VP at the track to claim contingency? I bought a 55 gal. drum of C-16 from a VP distibutor in Clarksville, TN before the Reynolds race and i'm still racing from that drum. I thought it was up to the NMRA to send a list in, not the person selling fuel at the track. I finally got to the finals in Dalls,TX so I know it will be a while before I see all the checks, but this is disturbing news. I have my receipt from my purchase.

Lisa, can I still purchase the fuel in 30 gallon drums? If so please shoot me a price on the VP C10. Also can I claim contingency this way.

Thanks, Andy

Andy, give me a call about the c10 that you need. Monday I received my order of c10 & I didn't order any 30 gal drums. The price on 30 gal drum is $195.00 or 6.50 gal. I only order 110 gal of c10 for the joilet race. 60 gal are preodered. you can reach me at 317-409-9390cell. I might be able to do something if you call me today.
