I changed 1994 3.8l to 5.0l, removed fuel injection system and installed carborated intake. Car still has factory automatic trans. my problem is that now trans will not shift self into first gear to take off. will go into reverse and can turn tires over without problem but when i shift into first will not take off. It does move if i gas the engine enough to raise rpm to second gear speed and will slowly bebin to move and will increase in speed up into the 80mph range without problem. HOW CAN I OVERCOME THIS PROBLEM WITHOUT CHANGING TRANS TO OLDER VAC ADVANCE TRANS. POST OR E_MAIL ME @ RAYCANTRELL1@YAHOO.COM
