Does anyone know how a Diamond piston compares to a JE? A company is wanting to substitute the JE's with Diamonds and I am wondering about the quality. Haven't heard much about them, good or bad. Thanks.

From what I understand Diamond is supposed to be one of the better pistons out on the market. You can always go by the old saying ' get what you pay for'. Diamonds are not a cheap piston. The ones I looked at started at $800.

i would hold out for the JE's. those and Wiseco's are all i like. JE has a proven record, and are the best piston you can get for endurance and oval track use, thanks to their skirt designs. even for drag use, the JE's are the toughest of the sub-thousand dollar sets.

Diamond pistons are a really good product.
