OK I've got a few misssing teeth on the flywheel of my 2.3L (Can be kind of embarasing at the track when all I get is ZIIIIIINNNNNG! instead of VROOOOOOM!). I've seen a few chain parts stores online list a replacement ring gear for the 2.3L, but when I took the flywheel off it's a pressed on piece (no little bolts like I was dreaming about:eek: ) What is the correct way of replacing this gear? Is a big screwdriver and hammer enough:rolleyes: ? As always your advice is truly apreciated.

turn it upside down and use a punch to get the ring gear off. thats the easy part.

for the new one, put the flywheel in your freezer and wait for your old lady to leave. then put the ring gear in her oven.

pull them out, and the ring gear will drop right on to the flywheel. dont try to punch it on, or you will mess it up.
