No, the paperwork with the block says it will take a 4.185 bore and still have .250" left. That is a lot. I will most likely bore it for 4.125" pistons and still have .055" left before maximum reccomended bore.

how long did you wait before receive it? , i have a billet 3.450 crank and a 4.150 bore should be a good choice for me to increase displacement :D where did you order it? thanx for the pic, the block is amazing comparer to my G351 svo it look like a CHUNKY one !

It only took 1.5wks for delivery after I ordered it from Speed O motive in CA. I don't think supply is an issue. It is an awesome piece. My machinist who typically uses the svo blocks said it was the cleanest and best looking ford block he's seen. You won't be dissapointed.

4.180 is the absolute max?

I paid $2K shipped to my front door. The paperwork says max bore is 4.185" with .250" remaining. I'm taking mine out to 4.125" which should leave plenty of material for years of service.
