Are there any rules regarding T-top cars? I searched the NHRA rulebook and could not find anything. However I was told by someone that you have to remove them to run? This didn't seem right and I just want to be sure, as I'm building a T-top car.

i wonder if you could make or have made sheetmetal t-tops to go inplace of the glass???

Sal,

Our cars had factory t tops in them. Consider the car as a full bodied car with a full roof. That is the way that NHRA looks at it!

In the latest addition on National Dragster, it has a rules update. Says T-top cars may use a roll bar to 10.00 Sounds like a full body car to me. :)

I thought the rule for T top cars in 2004 is 6 point to 11.00, 10.99 and quicker will need a cage now. You might want to check it out at www.nhra.com Then again I could be wrong? Later. Dave
