I'm looking for the article from I believe Lentec on how to drill the stock AOD valve body to make it shift manually.Thanks.Also if anyone has tried this let me know your results.:mad: :p

I scanned the pages a few years ago from MM&FF. I can send them to you if you give me your e-mail address. I've done the modification on 3 valve bodies and all worked great. It's a cheap alternative to the $350+ valve bodies.

Do you guys think that the aod is an affordable option for a heads-up car? It just seems to me that is isn't. I would love to try to do this also.

The AOD has come along way in the last several years.Several companies are making them more reliable,stonger and cheaper.
