Anyone know if the big or small 9" housing ends share the same bolt pattern for the backing plate as the 8.8???

The ones I bought from Moser do fit the 8.8 backing plate.

What's the advantage of having the 9" housing ends over the 8.8" housing ends?....James

Probably nothing... I didnt realise I could just put on the 8.8 ends for the 9" bearing size.

Thanks!

I choose the 9" ends because you eliminate the need for C-clip eliminators.Since my car is mostly a street car,I didn't want to run c-clips because of leakage.(side loads). Also, when you run 9.99 or quicker,C-clip eliminators are not aloud.

C-clip eliminators aren't allowed after 9.99? I think I'll have to look into this. First time I ever heard that.

I believe its 10.99

Moser makes ends that will take the 9" axle bearing with the 8.8 flange pattern.
