Has anyone had any experience with UPR's pro-series K-member kit? Was it difficult to install? Did it fit well or have to modified? Thanks....James

Are you looking to buy a UPR unit specifically, because if not I can tell you about D&D motorpsorts. Great kit, no problems.

Do they have a chromemoly kit? I thought I had read several posts of people complaining about the fit; that they had to do modifications to get it to fit correctly. I may be mistaken....James

Unless D&D has changed their production proces then you would be much better off looking into another brand. I have used both D&D and Performance Automotive. The D&D flat out had pathetic header clearance (actually less than a stock k-member).

The unit from Performance Automotive gave me 3" of additional header clearance PER SIDE.

Spend your money once and give Performance Automotive a call www.pararcing.net

How much are the PA kits and do they have chromemoly? Does the motor mount in the stock location or can you move it back acouple of inches? I bought my powerglide setup from them. I wonder if they would give me a discount? Thanks for the replies......James

Performance Automotive can/will custom make the unit for your application. Call and speak to Jason for more details.

i used all d&d stuff, k,a arms coil over conv camber caster, eagle stroker kit. no real problems, but 2 in kooks headers had to be "chevy wrench" massaged to fit, when using the 1 in set back. i also later found out that they are/ have been investigated for selling other companies products as their own. my camber caster plates were maximum motor sports with the stickers removed, and the instructions were MM's with the top of the first page (where the name was ) cut off! like i said, i had no real problems, but i have taken my bussiness to shops with a little less questionable practices. just MHO.
