25.5 certification requirement~ 7.50-8.49 E.T.


What is the NMRA's position on the *SFI* rule for 25.5 certifications? Will this be enforced in 2005 by the NMRA? I have heard rumblings that this may be put off for awhile.

I heard something similar.............like the rule was not to be official until 2005, thus the grandfather clause would be in effect from 2005 until your current chassis cert runs out...............
Could be way off base, but thats a rumor..............
Like Clair said, can anyone give us an "official" ruling or viewpoint on this..........

We have not yet discussed it internally for the 2005 season. I may be able to take time and talk it over with the rest of the rules during the weekend.

Was anything discussed about the 25.5 requirment, mine is already well underway....
