Just wanted to thank the NMRA for the changes at Bowling Green. Having the bracket races on the 1/8 mile was great. Most of the local cars that participate are set up for the 1/8. I have no doubt that the bracket race participation will increase in the future if it is done this way again
Just have the bracket race portion of each NMRA race the same distance as whatever is run at each track's weekly race.
I did not attend Reynolds this year as I was out of town, but I noticed in the rulebook that it listed both Reynolds and B.G. as 1/8 mile brackets. Rest assured I will continue to participate at these events on the 1/8 and attend both next year. I'm also confident that I will be bring more of my fellow Ford bracket racers with me.
