the car is a Mod Mustang and it ran wickedily fast Sunday (9s) in the heat. i was speculating because of the dancing M.J. in your sig. all day the announcer was calling the driver "Michael Jackson", could it be his real name? i dont know... all i recall is that he was in a grudge match at the end of the day, and he won. the other car broke on the line.

i suppose it was kind of a stretch thinking he as you, huh?

all i know is that the car is badass, and the owner deserves alot of respect.

I undersand your connection, perfectly logical.. although I don't touch lil boys! hahahaha, I haven't seen any mod motor cars like that up at cecil, I don't even think there were any at the mod motor shootout. I'll keep an eye out for him next time I go to cecil, maybe we can do the moonwalk together, lol

i sold the 89 about a year ago. the car just became too much like work, not a hobby. i wasnt enjoying the car anymore, especially after switching to a carb and big compression ect. i needed a change.

i did dissappear, huh LOL.

im back though with my 01 to run M/M. i also picked up a 78 Z28 that id *like* to have ready for the PRO race at MapleGrove. im not sure which class i want to run with it yet. if the Z isnt ready, im going to run the mustang in O/C or True Street.

re-introuduce yourself at Atco, id be cool to re-meet you. my car is silver and its on Telstars.

Will do, Mike. I'm kind of in the same situation now with my '86. It's been down since 1999, and I have everything to complete it, just no motivation. I've been debating the same thing, do I keep it and finish it, or sell it and get killed?

oh well, as of tonight my plans for racing NMRA/PRO are over. i broke my car tonight (fubarred TQ box). im going to the chassis shop monday to see when i can get it in there. im not holding my breath though. hes really busy at the shop this time of year, not to mention his own race schedule.....i had planned to do all of this over the winter.

hopefully the 430s, CLocker, 31spl axles, T/A cover, and bulletproof TQ boxes will be in the car sooner than later. hmmm, maybe just in time for good cool fall air :)

ill be at Atco though, spectating....:mad:
