Need help for hooking up speedo options???

I bought a car with no speedometer installed (strip only). I would like to put one back in there to make the car street legal. The car has a ati ultra glide which im positive does not have a gear out for a cable driven speedo. Does the autometer electric speedometer with hal sensors work in this instance or is there other options for me to make this work? I am at a loss please help! :(

yes the auto meter will work. i use the g-force, same situation. the magnets are attached to drive shaft, pickup bolts to center section, then all you have to do is set it by driving down a known two mi. stretch of road at a reasonable speed. ive had mine up for about a year and had no issues. good luck
