Pro Dial Comes to Englishtown in 2003
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Englishtown, NJ - Fans of Pro Tree, handicapped drag racing now have a new series to compete in at famed Old Bridge Township Raceway Park. Designed to give current racers competing in Open Comp-style and handicapped Index eliminators a place to race on a local level, Pro Dial will utilize a .500 Pro Tree start, but allow racers to choose their own dial-in for each round of competition.
The series will consist of 5 race dates in 2003. Four of these events will be held in conjunction with Raceway Park’s newly formed U.S. MUSCLE DRAGS, a bracket racing event designed for all brands of American iron.
Pro Dial will be open to all U.S. cars and light trucks. Rules are consistent with typical Open Comp requirements as outlined below, but racers should note that this class is for muffled vehicles only.
Racers should also be aware that Raceway Park has strict noise requirements for Friday and Saturday racing. Maximum db level allowed is 90db at 100 feet. Detailed information regarding this rule, and suggestions on ways to comply, is available on the Raceway Park website, www.racewaypark.com.
