Here's a picture of the 8.8 Rearend that is going into our PSCA Mustang race car. It needs a nickname because it looks so crazy.
I'm going to nickname it "Predator" because I think the front of it looks like the Predator in the movie.
If you're wondering why there are brackets all over it, it's because it has a Team Z rear suspension, wheelie bars, and some other mystery bars we can't talk about.
It's got Mark Williams internals in it, 35-spline axles, 35-spline lightweight spool, and a 3.90 Motive gearset. We'll have the buildup in a future issue.
Anybody got other wild 8.8 photos, feel free to post them.
