I am cutting my axle 3"s of either side. with a 12" Rim, what would be the prefered B.S on a fox body car. These will be Weld Alumastars, so I know that Weld does not offer a wide variety of back spacings compared to Bogart and other wheel companies.

Any help will be greatly appreciated, and pics of these setups would be nice for visual purposes.

Thanks in advance,

CraigS

well 6.5 for a 10 in rim subtract 3 for new rear would make 3.5 I would guess 4.5-5.5 for the 12in rim with your setup

I use 6" backspace 12" wheels when I narrow the rears 3-3.5"/side on a fox. It tucks the tires in nicely and leaves about 3/4" from the tire to the tub wall with a 325.
