does anyone know the stock axle flange to axle flange distance? I have seen all the posts regarding fitting 325s on stock suspension cars, i got a 9 inch and no longer have my 8.8 rear. So what do i have to do to make them tuck in nice, heat the inner wheel well and beat it to death, and if i do that how much clearance will there possibly be, i see Tim Johnstons car pics from an old post before the mini tubization process and the tire tucked nice, some other ones look as if they stick out an inch past which i dont like but it still works. so wise and experienced people tell me what to do here...

thanks

59.25" wide--drum to drum.
using draglite, rodlite, or prostar style Weld Racing wheel, I ran 15"x10" wheels with 6.5" back space. As for the inner fenders and wheel wells--heat and beat, cut out the lips on the fenders.
