I'm wiring up a 97 Cobra that has a MSD DIS-4 (built in 2-step) and a transbrake (C-4). Usually the transbrake is grounded and the 12V wire is ran thru a momentary switch. On the MSD 2-step, it has power internally, only the ground wire is ran thru a momentary switch. Is it OK to wire the transbrake hot and connect both transbrake and 2-step grounds into a momentary switch? Thanks for any info.

I can't coment on trans brakes but when I used the 2 step and line lock with the Dis-4 in the car that is what I did hot strait wired then ground switched. If the trans brake has a hot and ground that need connected I don't see why it wouldn't work your just completing the circuit with the switch. Hot or ground shouldn't matter how you complete the loop. Later. Dave

Thanks bro. Although I have a ground coming from the transbrake solonoid, I'm wondering it thats an adddition to being self grounded? Think I'll call a transbrake company. Thanks for the response Dave.

Yes I believe that will work. I'm running the MSD DIS4 PLUS and that's how I planned on wiring it up... :-)

I've had a few request for the transbrake/MSD DIS 2 step wiring diagram. This is very basic, but it helped me out.
