View Full Version : Hood that Phil Hines has...

I have a SN-95 and I was wondering if they make the same hood that Phil Hines has for his sso car for a 94-95. I am afraid I am going to have a problem with the hood being high enough at the point where where blower tubing crosses over the distributor. I have a 351 with 1" drop mounts on a anthony jones suspension does anyone have any suggestions for a hood that won't be as tall as a skyscraper and fit over this combination?

He doesn't have a hood yet for 94-98 but he will w/in a month. Prices will be 1095 cabon and 795 for glass.

you can look at my website and see my 99-04 version on my race car that i sell, i do have them available for 94-98, working on the pics as we speak...they sell for $300 plus shipping

Chad,

Good looking car. The hood I am looking for is a hood that only goes up 4 inches at the drivers glass maybe 5 at the most. The hood on Phil Hines car goes up quick but levels off and doesn't follow the body line so you don't have it running too high up the windshield. It looked like to me yours was more of a 7" cowl which is a little too high for me. Do you make a hood like the one I described?

I would like to see a pic of it too. Joe VanOverbeek does make one for the SN95, it looks like the one on don walsh jrs car only it fits the SN95. The price is good, like $350 for fiberglass more for carbon, but the shipping is expensive from canada

We have a Carbon fiber Overbeek hood on our other SN car, but I am not going to spend a grand on a hood.:mad:
