XFI...questions

I have a new XFI system and went with msd crank trigger and dist. I'm going to run both in bank to bank at times and also want to run in individual cylinder control at times. I had to buy the msd universal sinc signal kit part no. 2346. You have to custom install this onto you dist. I know and was wondering if anyone has done this and had any suggestions on how to do the install.

I didn't think you could swap between the two. Is this something new for the XFI? I know you can pick which one your going to run but after setup wouldn't it be difficult to go between bank to bank and sequential?

There is a video in your software that shows how it is done if your talking about the phasing...

Start the program Ccom

Click on the menu bar up top in the program help

Then click contents

click 6.0 initial setup on the left

scroll down to 6.2.1.1 and below that should be the link to play the video on how to phase your rotor. you have to have media player...

You would have to unplug whichever one you would not be using at the time. As long as you are running bank to bank the cam hall effect going to the universal cam pickup sensor that I'm talking about going to the dist. would be unplugged, then simply plug that plug back up and unplug the crank trigger plug to be sequ. I think.
