With NO INTERCOOLER, it is a nice car I am sure he is dealing with traction issues, he has been in the 8s with no intercooler.

Roger went 1.41 60ft first time on BFGs, car hiccup'd before the 1/8th........in his words.....um helps if you put gas in the car...........DOH.....

That sucks, I was just figuring it was traction issues. But I guess fuel in the car would help.
I also heard 4 blowers did not pass tech, some of both makes

Rog said 4 blowers were not of legal specs, he wasnt sure who, but did say one was an F1R.

Will there runs be allowed?

Are these guys going to be allowed to run the same unapproved blowers, for the rest of the race????
timneagroup
03-10-2006, 08:41 PM
In defense of the three who got DQ'ed, I can gaurantee that they were intentionally not trying to cheat, it was a new impeller that was suppose to be approved.
They are all class acts!

Congrats Matt, that is one hell of a way for you guys to open the season. Since there has been some many revisions of the blowers over the last few years are most of you guys with the old blowers using the ones with the 69,000rpm max impeller speed?

WOW!!!Just got back and all I can say is everyone in DR is a class act...I had fuel pump issues as I had just gotten the motor back together and went to Bradenton untested..I really appreciate the welcoming the DR followers gave me and their all class acts!!!..I went a 1.37 in the first round of elimn and the car just laid over as the FP fluctuated and then in front of me Alex's turbo came shooting out from under his car..ROFL...I was like damn...I went to the scales and weighed and waited..He finally came up and weighed and was legal and said he wanted to try to get the car back together for round two or else he would've not gotten weighed and give me the win..Its better that he got it back together as I hadnt made a quality pass all weekend,Just trying to show what a good guy most of these fellas are as he came to me and told me this so he knew what I was thinking all along....I will be in GA with my sh&* togther...I had a blast..Thanks again guys....Roger:D
