imo the 6.5 allows the tire to just tuck under the outer wheel lip and of course full susp. travel I don't like a tire to far in and definately don't care for when the tire sticks outside of the body

X2

15X10 6.5" BS for sure !!!

I have a set of 275/60 MT DR on 15x10 6.5's and they fit perfect. Your not gonna get a bigger tire to tuck in without minitubing it. A little inner fender work and a trim or roll to the fender lip and your done.

on our (my friends) sn-95 D.R. car: 15x10 , 6.0" b.s. , VERY minor inner hammering , 325/50 bfg , sidewall is flush with outside of body@ top center of fender opening(using anti-rool bar and installed bumpstops to prevent tire from "tucking" too far)
.... friend has 15x10 6.5 b.s. with 275/60 on fox body (looks perfect)
