Where is my money (10sec80cobra)Tony Spears

Hey guys, Iam having some problems with Tony Spears (10sec80cobra) from this forum. I picked up a set of "Brand New in the box" Probe shaft mounted rockers for TF high-ports from him. Well i got the rockers and went to install them. First notice wear marks on the side of the rocker arm's and wear on the rocker arm roller tip! Then after tring to mock them up on my High-Ports noticed the rocker arm roller tip isn't anywhere close to the valvestem centerline!!!
I called Probe and they said to rotate the motor over by hand and watch the movement of the roller tip, so i did so, and the dam rocker arm roller tip just moved even further from the valve stem center line (allmost fell of the valve stem). I called Probe back and they sayed i got the wrong rockers for my heads.
I emailed 10sec80cobra and told him about them being used and not fitting on my heads, i told him i want my money back. He basically told me he dosnt have my money to send back, he is out of work and he will have my money in about 2- 3 months!!!!
The best part is his orginal parts add for the rockers are no longer on here or under his name when searched! I think he got it deleted some how?
Just to let everone know what is going on here and hopefuuly we can get this taking care the easy way Tony.

the rockers are for hi-port and canfield. the rockers are new. i do not know what they wont work

This is what your add said. when i read it. I know i said i wasn't consered about them being used, but you know what i am consered know. You stated that they where new in the box, and you paid $870 shipped from probe, well when i talked to Bruce at probe he told me that they don't have you on file for buying these from then, but you did buy a oil pump shaft.
Plus right below the shipping label from you to me is another one from a Chris Berry out of Ohio shipped to you. Is he the orginal buyer of these? did he use them causing the odviouse wear marks on the side's of the rocker arm's and on the roller tip? what head did he use them on?
I would like to have my money back since these won't work on my head's and they are used also! not new as like you listed them as in you add.

I listed them on 2 web sites and i stated them as being "desighed" like you told me for High-Ports. And i listed them as being used. If you noticed after i listed them on only 2 websites i havn't "TTT" or tring to push the sale...I want my money back thats the only thing i want so i can get my project going again. So whats the deal you have my money yet? Why do you have a set of rockers on Ebay f/s?
Iam wondering how you couldn't see the odivious wear marks on the rockers, "jesel" marked mounting bolts that came with the Probe rockers and the plastic wrap torn in half?
lets do this the easy way and refunded my money and you will get your USED rockers that are designed to fit "High-Ports"

Also i listed them forsale because i think iam going to get beat out of you giving me my money back so iam tring to recover some of my loss...but you know what now that i think about it, i feel bad for listing them forsale because iam just going to be then next A-hole screwing somebody, (but atleast i listed them as USED). Iam not going to try to sell them now. I'll give you a few more days for you to give my money back and you will get your rockers back, if not i'll throw these rockers in the garbage.

Oh yeah and if you really think these rockers will fit my heads, i'll mock them back on my High-Ports and take some pics of how f ed up they are...And no more you telling me that its my pushrod length that is messing up my centerline..that dosnt work with Shaft Mounted Rockers. This isn't my first RO-DAYO here.

not tryin to interupt your conflict but it is possible to change you geometry by shimming up you pedistals if possible. should bring the tip back to the top side of the valve. you will need a longer push rod of course. hope you guys work it out.

Yes you can change the roller tip of the rocker location to the valve stem with a shim. I took measurements and figured out i need a 1/4in SPACER :eek: to get the roller tip just on the centerline of the valve stem.There is no way iam putting a 1/4in spacer under the rocker stand. Plus it just won't work properly. These are just the wrong rockers for High-Ports.
I too hope we can just get this taking care of, this is the first time i had problems on any website. I just layed out $$$ money for NEW rockers, if i knew they where going to be used and the wrong ones i would have bought them brand new right from Probe or Jesel for just another $200 buck.

1/4 inch is way to much, i would'nt do it either. something definately sounds fishy with those things. does probe have any idea what they are actually for. maybe they could be sold honestly to someone that could use them, if the seller wont make it right with you.

I asked them if they could tell me what they fit and they told me they make rockers for the Canifeld/High-port's or Victor's,afr,roush,stock,etc. And then they will make custom order rockers. This is what Bruce told me over the phone from Probe. There is no part number's on the rockers, or even the box i got them in. I guess if i wanted to i could get ahold of there tech guys at Probe and give them some measurements of the rockers i have and maybe they can help me out. But i just want my money back and forget about this intire deal.

Well, everthing orginaly was fine (money transaction, shipping of the parts where fast,etc). But like i said the parts i got are not what was described in the classified parts add. He seems like he will refund my money, but that is when ever he can get the money to give back to me. Iam still waiting, i just went on to fabing up some of the turbo piping for my car, but soon i will be needed a set of rockers and hopefully by then Tony will have refunded my money.

Seems to be a lot of people selling **** that they have no clue what the hell it is. I havent asked for my money back on what I bought, but they guy has said numerous times he'd give me the phone number to the guy he bought my heads from, and I could take it up with him. Like the other guy is gonna give a flying f#@k who I am, what I bought from John Doe etc. Does he think the guy he got the heads from is gonna make it right with me or something:confused: Im not even gonna get into it with him, he tells me he paid $1750 for the heads alone, like I give a ****. I paid $1500 for a set of 225s, not $200 less than retail for a set of used 205s. And I could care less about the junk Harland Sharp rickers that came on the heads. Im pretty discouraged from buying on this site again myself. I also bought a rotating assembly that was supposed to be ready to go, pics looked good but crank needed turning from a major burr, bearings were the wrong size, and rods werent billet like advertised. Rods are just H beam Carrilo's. Live and learn fellas, live and learn.:(

Yeah it truely sucks when this goes down, Its seems like you have it worst. I buy and sell a ton of parts on the internet and never really had any problems before.

Ok TTT, I havnt heard from Tony at all in about 2 weeks now. I didn't post anything and didn't email him, just figured i'll give you alittle time! How much longer Tony till i get refunded. Iam getting ready to pull the motor since alot of the turbo piping is complete and going to button up the motor now. In order for me to close up the motor i need money to buy the correct rockers and figure out what push rods i need then its complete!
