I HAVE SEEN SOME SOME FOX BODY GT WITH THEM DON'T KNOW WHAT SIZE RIMS BUT THEY STICK OUT A LITTLE TOO MUCH FOR MY TASTE
I'M TRYING TO DO THE SAME THING, I WANT TO HAVE THE MINI TUBS DONE IN MY CAR TO RUN THAT TIRE AND TUCK IT IN UNDER THE CAR TO WHERE I LOOKS VERY NICE. THE ONLY PROBLEM IS THAT I ALSO WANT TO RUN THE FSTA CLASS IS A STOCK STYLE SUSP. CLASS THAT DOESN'T ALLOW REAR COIL OVERS
I ANY BODY CAN PLEASE POST PICS OF YOUR FOX BODYS WITH THE 29.5's WITH OUT MINI TUBS AND SOME TIPS ON WHAT TO DO TO MAKE THEM FIT
I HAVE A STOCK LENGTH 8.8 WITH 10" WHEELS WITH 6.5 BS
ANY HELP WOULD BE APRICIATED

I mini tubbed a few cars with 29.5x10.5's on 10" rims with a 5.5" back looks killer and you can keep all the stock springs and suspension points! I have a mini tubbed notch with 28x10.5's on 9.5" rims sits low and has enuff room to fit a 29.5x10.5 on a 10" rim all the ones I do I narrow the rear end about 10" total and put a deep rim on it personally I like the way it looks!

i don't think you can narrow the rear end 5" per side and keep your lower control arms at all. my guess is it can't be more than 3" per side with out cutting off the lca brackets

Hooken Chassis is narrowing mine 5" total, and that leaves like less than a 1/2" between the bearing end and the brackets for the lca's. But, mine is mini tubbed now, and Ive got room for like 14" wide meats, but, Ill run 325's, probably a 12" wheel with a 6.5 or 7" bs. Should work nicely
