View Full Version : Need some help on nitrous fuel flow jets

I just bought the NX master flo check pro. It provides the flow jets conversions for NX systems but not for the NOS systems, which I didn't expect them to. I have a 427" yates headed motor that has a NOS fogger and plate on it. If someone could help me out with what flow jet you use for a fuel jet:
26
28
32
36
40
and for the plate as well. Or any others that I missed. Right now I have a 32/28 in the fogger now and that can change and a real small tune up in the plate. I am not running them as dual stages just individually now. I'll be back on here needing advice when I make that jump. If you need any more info let me know.
Thanks in advance for the help.

There are two schools of thought on this subject.
The first is to always flow with a 72 jet, no matter what fuel jet you are running in the system. It will give you a good point of reference.
The second is to calculate the jet you should flow with. To do that, take the fuel jet size you have, square it, multiply it by the number if fuel jets in the system (8 for a fogger), and then take the square root of that number, and flow with that jet. That jet represents the total area of all 8 jets in your system.
I can't remember what NOS says to do, but I'm pretty sure it's to always flow with a .072 jet. That's the prefered way to do it. Make sure you flow with a NOS .072 jet also. The NX and NOS jets don't flow the same.
The plate system is easy. Flow the system with whatever jet you have in the fuel side of the plate.
Good luck!
