front bumber

anyone know the easy way to get the front bumber out of a 90 fox body without tearing up the front bumper cover?

unbolt the bumper cover, take the bumper bolts out, remove the bumper, rebolt the bumper cover

Very simple. The hardest part is reaching way up into the fender to get to the nuts on the studs. Are you looking to remove the inner structure? Personally, I've done this, but since my car is now being rebuilt for serous street duty, the bumpers are going back in. The extra 53 pounds I'll be adding don't outweigh the extra possibilities of serious injury if I'm in a wreck.
