I got a set of speed pro rings that in the instructions recomend on drag race nos applications .07 per inch of bore. my bore is 4.165" wich works out to be .29-.30 gap top ring and the same is suggested for the second ring gap. but it also mentions that the second ring can have a larger gap for improved top ring seal. what are some of you alls input on this there is a formula for amount of nitrous h.p. x ? = gap or something right? how much is too big as far as gap? I plan on puttin about 400 H.P. to it at most! prolly start out at 200 and work up!

It is much safer to go just a little big on the ring gap. The motor won't know the difference at 7000 RPM's spraying a 400 shot.
Now if the gap is too tight, you will rip the top of the piston off.
