Katrina victim getting turned into a bracket/FFW/NMRA truck racer!

I found a 1992 ford explorer that will be a "project truck" that I am wanting to turn into a bracket racer/event truck. It was pulled up on a hill and the rear of the truck was underwater, which I plan on stripping it of all wiring, engine, trans, interior, and rebuilding the brakes, rearend. I'm wanting to get this sucker down to around #3000. It is currently weighting around 4163 lbs.................. Has anyone built an EXPLORER before for something like this????

any info will be greatly appreciated!

No comments? Is there anywhere I can find anyone who has raced a big sled such as this in bracket racing or anything? :(
