just how fast are the fastest trucks running nmra wanting to learn some about thisi mean stock body trucks

Well, the Lightnings are pretty fast, there are a couple of 10 second ones, including myself. This is at 4800lbs too :). Some of the little Rangers are in the high 9s. I would think that some of the trucks from last year will be faster this year so who knows. There are no rules as to how it's built other than following NHRA safety guidelines.

yes but i think it sucks we can only go in the 9s that sucks man why have a speed limit on drag racing

i mean the whole class hates the rule so why wont they change iti wanted to run the nmra some this year but now no way

I know that the fastest Lightning (Jason Brown's) is looking for a low 7 second pass if not in the 6's. Can't see someone like him racing at MNRA if you can run no faster then 9's.

I wouldn't base too many rules on Jason Brown being able to run in the class. The best I've seen from him and the "Flying Mattress" in a couple of years was a couple of exibition attempts in Bradenton and I don't think he made a full pass the whole weekend. I say let 'em run...MOST anything in the low 9's and faster isn't going to be consistent anyway, especially with some of the track preparation we get.
