I've got a Wild street/True Street car (93 coupe) that should trap 150 this year. Last year I went 142 and was able to bring it down on 100% stock brakes even at Cordova (short shutdown) and running 3 back to back passes with no time for the brakes to cool. Would just going to a rear disc (Strange, Aerospace) and manual conversion be good enough for 150? I do plan to upgrade the fronts and add a chute next season.
Thanks,
Rob

I ran 165-170 2 years ago with stock fronts/strange rears. Last year I went 180+ with stock fronts and dual strange rears. I had duals because of running a turbo. If you need strange discs, or aerospace, shoot me a PM and I can get you a price.

i went 152.50 on stock 86 small brakes and oil saoked rears once and turned the roters purple from 1 pass...i would suggest at least buying rear disk.....stock frots will be fine...

i never replaced my 4cyl fronts or rear and mine stops very good at over 140mph i think you should be fine with the bigger v8 brakes.im doing the swap to stock v8 brakes this year.:)
