Which 5.4 DOHC motor for a performance buildup?

I have been considering building a 5.4 DOHC mod motor for a long time, and was wondering which vehicles came with these and are any better than others for a performance build? I know this motor came in the navigator. Did it come in all of them, or only some. Any other vehicles? Anything to avoid or look for????

'00-'03 Navigator is what your after. They have big port 5.4 specific heads and forged cranks

Hi, Anyone have any idea how much maximum HP is possible with the stock 5.4 before they fall apart?
