Ok it's time to build a new 4.6 Short Block for my Turbo 03' Cobra , I am trying to build a stout shortblock to handle 1000-1100 rwhp without breaking the bank:rolleyes: :D Please help me with any parts pricing (brands) You guys have come across that can handle the power and help save me some ca$h. Thank You .

I did my TT short block build on a reasonable budget. Do it with a teksid block only, the stock '03 Cobra block is not ideal for 1000+ HP.

Here are the details:

'01 Cobra teksid block, cryo treated
stock '04 Cobra crank, cryo treated
stock '04 Cobra Manley H-Beams, cryo treated
CP Pistons & Rings, cryo treated
Speed-Pro coated race main and rod bearings
ARP 2000 rod, main, and head studs
MMR 7QT pan, oil pump, & pickup
