40 PSI @ idle? I didn't think turbos made boost until they were under a load.

Whew.........that would explain that.

I was under the impression that a good boost A/F ratio was around 11.5:1 but if it's pulling good, making good power and not detonating..........???? Have you tried putting more fuel in it to see how it would react? Does it respond any quicker?

What's that "AT LIKE 5500 AND 8PSI IM IN THE 140 TO 150 RANGE" all about? Is that fuel pressure too or mph?

hehe sorry again...the reason u would go that low(i believe) of and a/f would b to stay away from detonation(ud be actually cooling the air with raw fuel).. i tried little amounts.. still knockin.. weird.. that quote isnt complete sorry i was rushin as usual.. that means: at 5500 rpm and with 8 psi boost im in the 140-150range on the base fuel map.. i have accel dfi gen6.x, those last #"s are part of an interpolar(that the word) graph, all that they are is the amount of fuel being injected into the engine in milliseconds(pulses). the injectors go static(stay wide open 24/7) at around 220 (i think) at high rpm.. so in other words. i still have a ton of injector to go..

Hmmm. I would think the best way to figure it out is to get to a track asap and tinker around with it and watch your MPH. I haven't gotten into that DFI stuff much yet (still getting the car together) so I can't help you there.

Somebody at turbomustangs.com (http://www.turbomustangs.com) could answer your questions. Good site for info, check it out!
