What kind of 60' times are you running?
Do you foot brake the car or leave on a transbrake?
What is your ET and mile per hour?

Thanks for the reply.
I just ran my car for the first time this season and wanted to compare my 60' times with other racers in the 10's.
My car ran a 10.58 @ 129.9 mph with a 1.57 60'- on motor.
Still working on the combination. I can't wait to get to the track this weekend!

Thanks for the replies guys. It looks like my mile per hour is there and I should shoot for high 1.40 sixty foot times.
I run a foot brake car with a Dynamic C4. On my best pass (ET & 60') I launched around 1900 RPM. If I can get to the track this weekend (looks like rain is rolling in) I'll try stepping my launch rpm up to 2200.

It's a 408 with a YS Vortech on it. It was tuned for 18psi with a cog setup, but that run was a 12-ish psi 8 rib.

Depending on the weight of the car, converter, tires, etc. 129MPH should be low 10's high 9's around mid 1.3's 60' times.

Thanks for your input.
I'll keep working on the combination.
I haven't played with ignition timing, jetting, or cam timing yet.
My car weight 2975 lbs with me in it and runs 26x10.5" ET Drag Slicks.
Converter is a bit tight- The motor was built to be sprayed.
Looking forward to the next race!
Being stuck behind this desk today sucks!
I wanna work on my car man!

12 minutes to the track?
You lucky jerk, I'm 2- 2 1/2 hours away (depending on the tow vehicle:cool: ).
I brought my car to the track 4 times last year and it rained each time.
So far I have been lucky in "06" the car actually made it down the track!

First pass off the trailer this year. New 408, and a C-4 with transbrake. Leaving at 3,500 RPM.
1.373 60ft.
10.577 1/4 mile time
125.35 speed
Obviously I have some work to do, a 1.37 60 ft, should give me a much better overall et. The last 1/8 mile, the car was not pulling as hard as the first 1/8 mile.

Well we made it up to Lebanon on Sat. but got rained out, for the second Sat. in a row.
I knew we should of headed down to Maple Grove- Live & Learn.
Well, I have to work the next three weekends in a row.
With any luck, I'll get out to a test & tune on a Wed or Friday night.
But, money is tight! Spending $120 round trip in Diesel fuel not to race sucks!
