I am attempting to tune a friend of mines 03 corba. When he wanted to know what parts to order I gave him the "list" ya know 2.8,diablo, nitto's, cat back.cold air etc..... he bought a Mac cold air/95 mm maf set up. We put an AEM wide band in the car for safety's sake......the car went 12.16 @ 116.56. The a/f was going rich rich on the top end.
I cant for the life of me get this damn car to hold a freaking A/F ratio...we thought the blower belt was slipping..and installed the shortest belt AND aux belt tensioner. That did help, some, when you get into top gear and it's starting to FLY the A/F will drop.....untill the AEM just goes -- on the rich side. We've not gotten to a dyno, so the AEM's accuracy is still up in the air.
Anyone ever used this mac maf/cold air? Had problems with it?
