Hey guys I'm currently assuming the role for NOS motorsports support. If you need anything for you nitrous equipped car feel free to give me a call and I'll get you fixed up. I'll be attending several events this year so I may see you around. We pay contigency in almost all the race series so it pays to run our product. Take off your competitive product, send it to me and I can cut even better deals. :D

Thanks

Shoot me some details on your setup? What you are running now and what horsepower jets you are wanting to run in the plate.

I'm researching nitrous systems now. What would you recommend for a nitrous novice? I have a 1995 GT & have done a head/cam/intake swap making about 290-300 rwhp, 5 speed, 4.10's, & stock short block. Would like to add a 100-150 shot.

For what you are wanting to do you can run one of the universal fogger kits and be fine. The kit is easy to install and will give respectable results. Part number 05131NOS will get you what you need. Follow the directions and you'll be fine.

Jessie works for NOS, and is a hell of a guy and knows his stuff. And yes that was him in the blue NOS shirt, he hung out with a couple of wild street misfits all weekend. Damon

I was thinking he was from Mike Thermos place, but I forgot that was called Nitrous Supply.

What about a stage 2 system? Or would I just have to buy a 2nd solenoid? I kinda like the idea of starting off with a 75 shot in 3rd gear & 125 shot in 4th.

Yes I work for Holley which is the Parent company for NOS.

You'll have to run a second fogger nozzle with an extra set of noids. If you are just wanting to ease the nitrous hit I would just look at a progressive. This would allow you to make changes easier. No reason to complicate things with that small of a hit.

do u have any probs with this progressor

http://www.holley.com/15835BNOS.asp

i had this progrssor this time last year with a bigshot kit with 275 jets in it kept eating pistons that was a clearence problem , i went with a nx germi twin and have had no problems this season but i wana up the power more and want a progressor

i wana come out on 50 % for 2 seconds then the full hit of 300

all my friends have the digital one, i thought myn worked good besides my motor prob whats ur 02

the new one is nice but its over kill for what im doin thanks for the help

That controller works fine but if you compare cost you'll see why I recommended the new one. Cost is less and has more features. I have several guys running them already.

Jessie what kinda plug would it be sensable for me to run sprayin 150-300. 347 cu ford, plate kit.

Big difference between 150 and 300. The 150 jet will need around a 2 step colder plug then what you normally run. You'll want to go even colder from there and keep the gap tight. On a 300 tune up I'd be 3-4 colder on the plug and the gap around .035-.040. NGK seems to be the plug of choice for most people. They will usually burn a little easier giving a good sign of when you are pushing it. Autolite plugs are a little tougher but you can kill a cylinder before you kill the plug. Seems to be what I've seen anyway.

A lot of guys are telling me that controllers are hard on the motor plus soleniods. Is there a degree of truth to that or is that bs. One final question, I'm running a 3924 Autolite for motor, when I start spraying I have 7,8,9, Ngk's I was told to run a 9 for a 300 shot. Will that work?

run the 3932 autolite, we have used them up to 350 with 2 systems and had no problems, they are a great plug....

instead of using the nitrous controller why not wire in a digi set to ramp timing instead. if you have any questions you can pm me and i will help as best as possible...

also, coulterz28 who do we talk to about an event sponsorship? we run a local event in the northeast and are looking for a big name sponsor. It is small money in comparison to the big races but we are an up and coming race. The other question is personal sponsorship. i will pm you my number and we can talk.

I must have overlooked it on the NOS website. Could you please post the part # of the new one you are talking about?

Will try those plugs or maybe one heat range hotter for a smaller shot maybe a 3930. Give you some advice, but you problally already know, autolites will hurt a motor if they melt or come apart. But since you already know I can't win wild street you problally already knew what my sh!t will run too, right?

Jessiecoulter@holley.comJessie I just bought a a pro shot fogger system and after I bought it I found out that the 13700bnos nozzles have been known to leak where the tube is pressed in? have you heard of this?
what I was told was that the leak would restrict the fuel and kill that cyl. this kit that I bought was 02462-S-ENOS thanks jeff

Unless it is an old system you shouldn’t have any problems. This issue dates back well over a year ago. Currently all the B nozzles are 100% leak tested before they leave our facility. If you feel this kit could be old inventory or was bought used feel free to send me the nozzles and I’ll leak test them at no charge.
