Hey "T", do you use the green Speedtech bottles? if so do you mount the bottle standing up straight or at an angle on the side? I was wondering where the pickup tube was. I know on Jenkin's car he has them standing up straight.

I have old nos bottles just 6 of them and I mount them on a 45 degree angle in the trunk!
I have only one new green speedtek bottle and just recently mounted a dual bottle bracket in my passenger seat location so they will be straight up real soon !!!

I spoke to Speedtech and here is the deal with the bottles. They will point the tube either direction you want it. Since they assemble their own bottles. Simple. If the label is on the same side as the bottle nut, then the bottle is for standup use(bottle nut facing foward)
If the bottle nut is opposite the bottle nut, then it is a lay down(45 degree) bottle
I needed lay downs and had to take all my bottles apart and rotate the pick up tubes. Keep in mind you WILL need a new teflon gasket for the valve. It may look fine, but it starts as a teflon oring. and it totally flat when it has been used. 2.19 from speedtech. Also keep in mind the sticker will be in the wrong location when you rotate the vave. They have those available as well if you care about asthetics.
I can say the "Quickie" is a fantastic product. very high quality build.
