16 : 1 compression + nitrous?

i want max power... drag race aplication only , try to figure out if 16:1 compression + 400 Shot of nitrous is posible , engine is 360 c.i. yates head 8500 RPM , i run c16 fuel can run something more exotic if it need? any input on a combo like that would be apreciated , thanx

what kind of nitrous system you use? fogger? and what about the fuel you run and timing?

I have always used c-16 and a big shot plate at the 350+ setting. I will now be spraying 500/550 with the plate/fogger combo and will be using the c-16 nitrous fuel. I have 18 degree heads and the timing was set at 30 degrees and 11 was took out at the line. I was leaving room for improvement on the timing to go to 33/36 and I have always ran very rich and consertive. The motor and kit worked so good at the 30 degrees, I decided to leave it there. My fogger is the pro-race N.O.S. kit.

Hey 857, what did this combo run? Possibly building the same set up (in a 2700 pound car) and just curious what to expect. Thanks, Jim
