4.6 Aluminum blocks

What difference, if any is there between the 96-98 Cobra DOHC
aluminum blocks, and the 05-06 mustang gt blocks?

I have someone interested in doing a build up on his 06 Gt, and has access to
a 98 Cobra block

dont do it, will not work. 96-98 Cobra block are bad ass make in italy
