View Full Version : Having problems with belt coming, help!

First off, everything is perfectly straight! Yet my belt on my f1r, keep breaking no matter how nug we put it on! Is the a problem with the belt's, i use the "db594i-12" or do i need to brace something somewhere?? Pls help, these belt's price's r killing me!! thx's

your problem is upper head unit movement. u can't see with your eyes but just because u don't see something does't mean it's not there. brace the blower head unit at the top. look at the pros. no, look closely and see what you've missed. r. booker mdpd

Do you have a pic, of the way you set ur's up? thx's for ur help!

So i brought a brand new damper also front pully, and the bracket piece so i'm hoping this will be the end of this???? Thx's!

Judging by that belt # this is a 12 rib serp. set-up???

I never had probs. with any of my serp. set-ups, but if you want a pic or two of my cog set-up, brace etc. send me an e-mail at jelinekgarage@sbcglobal.net

Like 9secgt said that head unit will move under load and cause all sorts of trouble if not corrected.
