I have a couple of sets of older NOS nozzles and I'm trying to identify them. I was hoping coulterz28 could help out.

I'll go and snap some pictures of them and post them in awhile. The one set I had anodized so the color is no longer OEM.

Ok that didn't work. This site sure isn't very picture friendly. Hold on I have a way around that...................

The second picture is from an installed setup I have. It has 16050 Cheater fuel noids and 16040 Pro Shot N2O noids.

What will this system flow/produce? The noids I believe will flow 400hp on the fuel side and 300 hp on the Nitrous side. So is it safe to say it's a 600 hp system maxed out and a conservative 500 hp setup?

How old and outdated is this system? Should I just consider new nozzles?

Can't see the pictures here. Might be our internet security settings though. Email me the pictures

The next time I'm out in the shop for a period of time I'll try to get you some better pictures.

Puzzled, I don't need the pictures to see what you have. NOS has four nozzles. Their first was the "A" nozzle. Black with Brass jet fittings. Their second was the "B" nozzle. Black with silver jet nuts. Their third was the Soft Plume. Stainless Steel nozzle with 90 degree exit. The forth and final was the "R" or Annular nozzle. Stainless Steel as well with straight through exit. Hope this helps... Steve

I definitely have the first generation nozzles on the shelf. As far as four nozzles that I can't say. When looking at their catalog there are about a dozen different nozzles.

I was trying to figure out what I have. This way I can either send them down the road or use them for ATV applications.

Puzzled, I worked for NOS for eight years. They basically had four designs for there wet direct port systems. If the "A"'s are what you have, I would take a look at some of the newer options. You might check our (Edelbrock's) site and take a look at our E2 or E3 nozzles. They are pretty nice and work great !! Thanks, Steve

Is Edelbrocks nitrous stuff made by NOS?

Steve tell me/us more about the Edelbrock fogger systems. I at one time was looking at the Edelbrock nitrous systems but can't remember why I went to NX after ditching my Compucar stuff.

Stamped or flowed jets
how many power levels in a kit
what power levels
how consistant are the nozzles
what size orfice "noids"
are the kits available minus bottle and feed line

Hey Guys,

To answer Darren's question. No Edelbrock nitrous is not made by NOS. Edelbrock nitrous is made by the Edelbrock Coporation in house at our Torrance California facility. Edelbrock does employ a few of the employees that worked for NOS previous, to Holley buying them. As I stated before as well I worked for NOS for eight years. Even previous to Holley buying the company as well.

You can see most of our nitrous stuff on line at www.edelbrock.com

We have the most consistant Stainless Steel jets in the business. As well as the first to have them !!

We have quite a few different kits at many different power levels. I can tell you that our horsepower numbers are pretty conservitive too. We have our Victor Jr. (cross style) plate that is only rated at 200-400 HP. Everyone I have sold then to and got them to start out with the 200 HP tune up is amazed at the power the systems make. Many have reported out running there previous systems 2500-350 settings.

We have kits from 50-500+ HP. From simple plates to Titanium nozzled direct poet systems.

I plumb and flow systems and do many installs for Edelbrock as well as many racers as well. I keep a very close eye on our quality control as well as report if I see any variations in consistency. We stay right on top of things !!!

We at this time basically have the same selection of offices sizes as most all of the others. We do use Teflon plungers in ALL of our nitrous solenoids. We also do not use the high amp draw coils on our solenoids that many of the other chose to run.

Yes, some of our kits are available with out the bottles and lines. If the kit is not available in this form, in most cases I can still get you what you want.

Hopefully I have answered a few of your questions. Please take a look at our products. I think you'll find that our nitrous systems have the same great "made in the USA" quality as our heads, intakes, and other products we sell..... Thanks, Steve
