Just looking at everyone's times for the three runs, I have a question (because I typically do not watch the PS results but have taken an interest recently). Are the runs in this class typically all over the place? What I mean is that from one run to the next there were A LOT of people who ran quick then slow. Was it track conditions that caused everyone to be all over the place as far as ET goes? If this is the norm, then it is basically ANYONE's race - regardless of qualifying. I mean if one racer has a good run (and they normally are high 10's) and a higher qualified racer has a bad run (low 11's) then that means that nobody really has an advantage.

If there typically is a set of runs that are all over the place, then is this also true of eliminations?

I am not trying to be an @$$ here, just curious since I just started to watch the class.

There are a few reasons you will see that. Sometimes it's breakage. Sometimes you are trying to get a certain position on the ladder so you just run an 1/8 and sometimes it's driver error.

You'll see alot less of it on elim day, but breakage is always a possibility in this class.

Especially with the stickshift P/S cars:eek:  I'm a witness first hand to that issue.
