first i need to know is how can i tell what fast box i have in my car if it is bank to bank or the other one? does not say on the box is it in the s/n or when u load the cd? thanks

but now my main thing is how hard is it to tune a superchared car you self with the fast or is it even worth the risk? my set up is a 347 with trickflow 2.02 heads and gt-40 lower sheet metal box upper and putting a novi 2000 on it with like 14-16 psi. i never had a fast in the car and i dont know much about them and tuning but just want to know how it should be set up and also does anyone hae a blown 347 set up and about how much they making for boost and hp. thanks

You can call FAST and give them the model number on the back of the box. That info will tell if it's bank to bank or sequential and if nitrous control is included.

FAST - 901.260.3278

If you have never messed with EFI tuning I would leave that to someone who knows what they are doing.

More than likely if you don't know, you've got a bank to bank...............to run a sequential system you have to have either a crank trigger set-up or some type of dual pick up distributor. Like Vin said give FAST a call with the serial # on the back of the box and they can give you all the detials.

Tuning with it is not bad if you know basic tuning theory regarding a/f ratios and timing/spark advance basics......... BUT I strongly suggest that if you are new to the stand alone systems and tuning with them you at least have someone with experience give you some help to get started in the right direction and show you the tuning basics. You can easily burn up an expensive engine with a few incorrect key strokes. But don't be afraid to play with it yourself either once you learn the basics, just take small steps with it. I know alot of guys that are afraid to touch the laptop themselves, but then you are at the mercy of whomever is doing your tuning for you. I have a great guy that helps me, BUT he doesn't just do it for me, he shows me how to properly do things so I can handle most issues myself. Once you get going with it the most important thing is learn to properly read spark plugs ( sometimes that wideband can get confused or be confusing ) so you can see what's going on in the combustion chambers so you don't turn them inside out!!!.

Enjoy!!!.........

if the part number for your box has SEFI 8LO that stands for sequential electronic fuel injection, 8 cylinder and low ohm injectors
