There was a couple people that I wanted to address with this thread and it shouldn't be any surprise who. It seems that most racers in these Heads-up classes feel that their class is the best. We've seen some great things this weekend but lets talk about the teams of pure street.
Ron you proved yourself to be the one to beat all year so congrats on the championship. Ron and Brad had some amazing ET's this weekend so congrats to both of you for stepping things up. :D
Well, we didn't have any 160 mph left hand turns at the 1000' mark but I've got to give a shout out to Ryan for driving out those insane PS wheelies. I mean come on these are NA 10 second street cars peeps!! I remember the days of those old Flowmaster ads with the, so called, 9 sec N2O BBC car is on the bumper and it was a big deal...yeah big deal...so what. NA baby..!! Nice driving Ryan. :eek:
Mike and Amy. All I've got to say is wow and get some sleep!! Lowest ET they've had (I believe) and they put their car back together from destruction in three weeks. Awesome job at showing the true heart of a racer. I'm sure everyone would applaud you on this. Congrats... :cool:
Great job to everyone in PS this year because I know everyone had their own personal milestones...
...and I've just gotta share my favorite quote of the weekend. It wasn't directed at me but it was great:
"Hey, if you can't win, put it on the bumper!"
Hey, JB, it is the South Side of Chicago...so I'll work on putting a couple more bodies in my trunk to get that going that way no matter what I'll get that media coverage...lol j/k
