Trans ???

What is the Trans of choice for P/S racing?

I am trying to use my mustang as a bracket car as well, I know the Automatics are going to be slower because of the HP it takes to turn the pump, I can bracket race a good 5 speed setup...

What are you guys running?

I was really disappointed with 41 two weeks ago and said I'd never go back there. I had to throw all my data away... I call it "the local slip n' slide".. I know some like that track and I use to not have a problem with it there but it really left a bad taste in my mouth. Plus in the fall in the evenings the top end gets covered with dew and the occasional critter. :eek:

However, optionally, schedule permitting I'd go up to US 131 since I know it's a good track with a consistent surface. It's only 80 minutes further which isn't bad. We'd probably get Bruce to go on that adventure and maybe Jimmy Byrne too?

Byron sorta screwed us last weekend when they cancelled it due to rain with nothing but blue skies?? So Bruce went to the Grove during an import shootout. The Grove was horrible too with no track prep due to the DOT tires... :confused:

Let me know what you think about 131.
