If I install a .032" (per NHRA rules) aluminum rear bulkhead, do I still need to run a sealed battery box (like the Moroso)? Or can I get away with just the Aerospace hold down brackets? It's an Optima battery if that makes a difference...

Nope it's one or the other you do not have to do both.

Cool, thanks Chris:)

Now do I have to have the bulkhead cover the package tray as well (sn95)?

If you have any holes they need to be sealed. Are you putting a fuel cell back there? If it is just the battery it would be so much easier just to get a sealed battery box.

Putting a cell back there. But its still a street car so I want to keep the rear speakers on the package tray. Can I just cut pieces of sheet alum and rivet them over the remaining holes up there? I'll still use the interior trim that goes up there, so it doesnt have to look super clean...
