I am considering running at a few NMRA races next year in the Factory Stock class(Reynolds and Bowling Green). I was wondering what kinda 1/8 mile time you guys are running on an average. With the combo I will have the rule book says I can weigh in at 2900lbs (E7 heads and an AOD). I have been coming to the NMRA races for the last 7 years and I want to come and race with you guys atleast once or twice a year. I may get slamed in the first round but i'll have fun doing it, and beside sun shines on a dogs butt every once in a while.

thanks Jeremy

I would say in the 7.20-7.40 range for 1/8th mile times. Good luck next year! You'll have fun and meet some great people.

Dont use a aod unless they give it a 100-150 weight break. :D

The book says 250 for an AOD and 50 for E7 heads. So that makes my ol heap weigh in at 2900lbs. I may be bringing a plastic knife to a gun fight but its all in good fun and I just want to meet some of the racers and see how good I can do againist the best there is out there. Even if I go out in the first round i'll still have fun doing it. I've waited long enough to get to one of these races with my car and it's getting closer to happening. Hope to meet some of you guys there next year.

That's 250 for the E7s and 50 for the AOD. Good luck with those E7s.....and getting the car to hook with hardly any ballast.....

Yea thats right knew it was one way or the other. I'll need all the help I can get, the car has nothing in right now so I can put it where ever I can for now.
